Hello crafty friends! I have the most adorable stamps and dies to show you today! These bug jar stamps and die cuts are the perfect summer addition to the Love Jar kit. So fun! Check it out :).
My first card encompasses all things bug collecting! I used the jar and the adorable grass die cut as the basis for this card. I cut numerous grass clippings and then layered them along the bottom in and around the jar die to give that deep in the grass feeling.
Next, I stamped the stick and cut it out and then stamped the bugs directly onto the card. I then colored the bugs with copic markers to bring them alive! I added some winged friends by stamping, coloring and cutting out butterflies.
I finished off the top of the jar by stamping and cutting out the cloth top and stamping the strings. Some additional paper embellishments, stamped titles, lollies and rubber bubbles finishes off this card.
Catching fireflies is a "highlight" of the summer so this card is all about those lighted friends. The jar is the focal point of the card made from tan and white cardstock.
I stamped the fireflies directly onto the white center and then used a yellow copic to color their lighted ends. The coordinating foam piece and stamped cloth with paper twine finishes off the jar.
I used the blue star background to simulate night. A stamped sentiment and yellow rubber bubbles along with some additional paper embellishments finishes off this card.
