Happy New Year everyone!! It's cold and snowy here so the perfect time to crank out a few heart themed cards for Valentines day or any day!
For my first card, I went with the clean and simple lines of the LOVE die cut and paired it with a simple white, dot embossed background.
I added the larger pink circle behind the red heart to give a pop of extra Valentine's Day color.
A pink felt flower with bakers twine as well as some faux white stitching finished off the heart.
To finish the card, I added a strip of scalloped pink layered with a narrow band of red with faux white stitching.
For my second card, I kept my lines clean with a white background layered onto the grey wood and red background.
I then added a bit of whimsy with the umbrella die cut and "raining" heart shaker toppings and heart bling.
The "hugs" sentiment was cut from red paper and then I finished off the card with some faux black stitching and a red pom pom flower.
