Making a Scene- Fright Fest

Making a Scene- Fright Fest

The Fright Fest kit is SO MUCH FUN! I love all the shaped shakers you can create from a jack o lantern treat bucket to a vampire coffin.

You can easily complete a fabulous card by simply layering a shaker over some patterned paper.

But, sometimes it’s fun to make a spooky scene to go along with your shaker.

For this card, I die cut a moon, hill and several extra grave stones. I inked the edges of all of these pieces with black ink to give them an even creepier look. Then I put them altogether to create a mini cemetery, perfect for a Halloween card!

I created a hill scene for my vampire coffin too.

I figured the hill cut out of patterned paper Is the perfect compliment to the sentiment! So whether, you like to paper layer or create a scene, you will have so much fun creating the cutest and spookiest shakers with the Fright Fest Kit! If you would like to see these cards and the rest of the shaped shakers up close check out this video where I show the creation of 7 cards with this 1 kit.
Of course you can make much more than 7 cards with the Fright Fest kit, but I wanted to show how to use each die and shaped shaker!
