Scalloped edge with Ric Rac!

Scalloped edge with Ric Rac!

Hey there crafty friends!  It's Laurie Willison here.  Today I have a couple of cards to share using some of the goodies you can find in the Queen and Company store.  There are so many to pick from and all so much fun!

This first card was so fun to make.  I used the red Ric Rac to add a little border detail to this card...

To create this card, I cut a white panel for the card front.  I used some super sticky 1/8" Scor-Pal tape and added it to the sides of the back. The Ric Rac was so easy to add to each side of the white panel.  Next, I added in 2 strips of cardstock to the outer edge behind the Ric Rac.  I added a panel of fun foam to the back of the card front and added it to the aqua card base.  Last, I added in the hello die cut to the card front.  I love that white on white look with the pops of color!

When I began creating a shaker card for my next project, somewhere along the line it turned into a gift bag.....

I wanted to showcase the Halos sold in the Queen Shop.  I realized that they would make the most perfect flower center so I grabbed the Shaped Shaker Flowers to create this simple panel.  I used the stem and sentiment from the Flowers stamp set and stamped them each on a white scalloped card stock panel.  Next, I added in a leaf die cut and then built the flower shaker box.  I added in a small circle of card stock and topped it off with a pink Halo.  I love these little embellishments as they are full of glitter for a perfect bit of bling for any project.  I added a matching bow on the gift bag handle and now I am ready to wrap up any gift!
